ASIAN BUSINESS ANGEL FORUM - 08-09 MARCH 2010
BANSEA is pleased to invite you to the inaugural “Asian Business Angel Forum (ABAF) - Seeding Asia’s High Tech Future”, a two day event, to be held in Singapore on 08 & 09 March 2010 at Pan Pacific Marina Singapore.
The Forum brings together for the first time in one place angel networks, investors and startup companies from across Asia, and expects to draw over 100 participants from Asia, Europe and the US.
The programme includes a series of exciting Keynote speeches and in-depth panel discussions with leading industry players such as: Mr Saurabh Srivastava (Co-Founder & Chairman of the Indian Angel Network), Mrs Brigitte Baumann (President of the European Business Angel Network), Mr Saeed Amidi (CEO, President & Founder of Plug & Play Tech Center), Mr Bob Lin (Founder of Multi-Dimensional Venture Partners), Dr Charles Lee (Founding Managing Partner of Charles Lee Enterprise), and many others.
Cross-Border Focus
The Forum also features multiple break-out discussion sessions encouraging the cross-border exchange of ideas among angel networks, entrepreneurs, incubators and governments.
Startup Pitching Sessions
There will also be time allocated to companies to pitch their ideas to investors. We encourage you to invite select innovative startup companies from your home country to participate in ABAF’s pitching sessions. The investee companies will be given priority (subject to availability) to pitch, and will also have the opportunity to showcase their products/services at a booth at discounted rates. Please send executive summaries of your companies and indicate any interest they may have in securing booth space to BANSEA’s Executive Director, Ms Jenny Law.
Request for Marketing Support
BANSEA would also be grateful if you would help us in garnering interest and support from within your network and community by disseminating the ABAF Programme (attached) to those in your network (such as fellow angels, investors, entrepreneurs, incubators and government officials) that you think will benefit from learning more about the dynamic landscape of angel investing in Asia. You may also wish to post the Programme on your web site or embed a link directly to the Programme (see below). We really need your support to market the programme - the broader the participation, the richer the exchange will be for all those who can join us in Singapore.
Access to Related Events
ABAF is part of a week of technology-related activities under “INNOVFEST 2010 - Catalysing Connections Across Asia”, co-organised by NUS Enterprise and BANSEA. ABAF participants will be able to attend such activities at discounted rates while benefiting from a week of networking opportunities across Singapore’s early-stage ecosystem.
